Last Updated: April 17, 2026
Snowbird Services LLC ("Snowbird") is a consumer data furnisher under the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"). If you believe information we have furnished about you to a credit bureau is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to dispute it, and we will investigate.
How to file a dispute
You can dispute in either of two ways:
- Directly with Snowbird. Email disputes@snowbird-services.com, call (903) 458-9072, or write to the designated dispute address below. Please include your full name, the address on your account, the specific information you believe is inaccurate, and any supporting documentation.
- Through a credit bureau. You may dispute with Experian or TransUnion directly. The bureau forwards your dispute to us under FCRA § 611, and we investigate and report the results back to the bureau.

What happens after you file
- Acknowledgment. For disputes sent directly to us, we acknowledge receipt within 5 business days and give you a reference for your dispute.
- Investigation. We review our records, request verification from your property manager where needed, and analyze the evidence.
- Resolution. We complete the investigation and notify you of the results within 30 days of receiving your dispute. The timeline may extend to 45 days if you provide additional information during the investigation.
- Correction. If we confirm an error, we correct our records and send the update to every credit bureau that received the original information. Outcomes are recorded as verified, updated, or deleted.
While a direct dispute is open, we note the affected account as disputed in our reporting until the matter is resolved.
What Snowbird reports
Snowbird furnishes positive, on-time payment information only. Late payments, missed payments, returned (NSF) payments, partial payments, and eviction-related events are not reported to the credit bureaus. Snowbird does not determine your credit score; credit bureaus and their scoring models do.
Identity theft
If you believe a Snowbird tradeline resulted from identity theft, contact us right away at disputes@snowbird-services.com. We block the information from further reporting while we investigate, and we may ask you for an FTC Identity Theft Report or police report and a copy of your identification. If identity theft is confirmed, we delete the tradeline and do not report it again.
Your FCRA rights
You have the right to dispute inaccurate information and to a free copy of your credit report each year from the nationwide bureaus. A summary of your rights under the FCRA is published by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau at consumerfinance.gov. Snowbird is not a credit repair organization, and we never charge you to investigate or correct a dispute.
Questions that are not disputes
For anything that is not a credit-reporting dispute, see our contact page or email info@snowbird-services.com.
This page explains how to dispute information Snowbird has furnished to a credit bureau. It is provided in plain English for clarity and does not constitute legal advice.
